Where are you located?
20 minutes outside of Orlando FL
What is your pricing?
We price our puppies are 4 weeks old and prior to any selections. Pomsky puppies will range $2000-6000 depending on size, coloring, and demand
How big are Pomsky puppies when they are adults?
While each pairing is different, we aim to breed for pups that are 15-25lbs, based on parent and grandparent size. If we have a litter with a 5lb sire and a 20lb mother, we can assume at least one puppy will be much smaller than the rest. Reverse can happen if we have a 30lb mama and a 5lb sire... we might get one puppy that is 30lbs big. We also ask families to understand that pomskies (and other designer breeds) incorporate various sizes over the generations and sometimes mother nature doesn't read out rule book (makes pups outside of our professional estimate). We hope that our families will love their baby no matter what size as we will prioritize pairing temperament and quality breeding over "shrinking down puppies".
How can I buy one of your pomsky pups?
Please submit an application to set up a phone call interview. We would love to learn more about your Pack and see if a pomsky is the right breed for you! If we feel that we can add to your Pack the next step is to place a non-refundable payment to retain a place in line (or for a specific puppy).
What method of payment do you accept?
ZELLE and BANK WIRE only at this time
How can we go onto the waiting list?
$100 non-refundable retainer is required to go onto our waiting list. Selections start for our waiting list families around 4-6 weeks old. When you select your puppy a $500 non-refundable payment within 24 hours. This payment applies to the final price of the puppy.
We placed a deposit with you but found a breeder who has puppies sooner. Can we have our deposit back?
All deposits are non-refundable but we can hold your deposit up to two years.
Do you place pups with breeders?
We prefer to place our puppies with pet homes. Breeding placement is a case by case basis. We do offer stud service for approved breeders
At what age do deposit holders select their puppies?
We typically allow final selections done between 4-6 weeks of age. This allows your family to see growth, development and personality before making your final decision. Puppies will be selected by deposit holders (in order) before being offered to the public. If you are on the official litter list and are not happy with the puppy choices by selection time we will transfer you back to the waiting list at your request. Our policy is 2 waiting list transfers per family. We do not allow transfers after 6 weeks old.
How often do you provide updates?
We update photos every 2 weeks for deposit holders via social media. Our formal evaluations are around 7 weeks old which will be posted to the website.
What type of vaccines and vetting will my puppy have?
Deworming occurs at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks old. We deworm for worms, parasites, giardia and coccidia to ensure puppy tummies are healthy and happy. We check the fecal sample around 4 weeks in house. We administer a prescription grade heartworm, flea, tick and parasite tablet between 6-8 weeks (pending growth/development) called Sentinel. All puppies will have a vet visit with a USDA endorsed and FL licensed vet for their first round of core puppy vaccines and health clearances. Pups are microchipped to their new families as well.
When should I take my new puppy to the vet?
We insist that you establish with YOUR vet within 72 hours of pick up for a well puppy check. We want nothing but the best for our babies when they leave which includes having a professional vet by your side.
Will my pomsky puppy be spayed/neutered?
Your puppy will not be spayed or neutered at pick up. You will need to discuss sterilization with your vet at the first appointment. We recommend traditional spay/neuter between 12-24 months and will require proof of spay per the purchase agreement.
Will my puppy be crate trained by pick up?
Independent crate training and night night manners are started with us but not perfected. A realistic expectation for a crate trained puppy is between 12-16 weeks of age. Until that time we recommend a litter box system at night time or having a human get up once in a six hour period to let puppy outside to potty.
Will my puppy be leash trained by pick up?
We do not do any leash walks with our puppies until 10 weeks due to safety. Leash training is dedicated 1v1 care and as a breeder we do not always have the ability to train to the leash. Your puppy will have exposure to collars and leashes starting at 6 weeks to provide a smoother transition. We also ask that you talk to your vet about when you can safely walk your puppy outside of your property.
Will my puppy be potty trained by pick up?
We have excellent feedback on our potty training system with the little pups. A combination of a potty area/litter box and outside potty training is utilized while pups are with us to help them learn what is acceptable. Most puppies have an 80% potty training rate by 12 weeks and a 95% by 16 weeks old. Do not scold or punish your puppy if they tinkle in your house. They are just babies!
How do you socialize your puppies?
Our puppies follow a curriculum starting at 3 days old. We monitor pups and mama dog constantly and are extremely hands on. The socialization process is age appropriate and tailored to the individual development of each puppy. To say the least, e vary the sounds, temperatures, textures, toys, noises, types of ground, types of touch, human expressions and communications, over the 8 weeks. We evaluate strengths and weaknesses for our babies as they grow to make sure they are ready to join their new Pack by 8 weeks. Our socialization and curriculum involves our family, our property, close friends, and team members/volunteers. We do not feel comfortable bringing pups to public areas (except the vet office at 8 weeks) due to safety.
What food do the puppies eat?
Our puppies will be weaned to a blend of RAW and ALL STAGES LIFE'S ABUNDANCE. We supplement with vitamins and probiotics to keep tum tums happy and healthy. We insist that you order no less than a 30 day supply of All Stages Life's Abundance before pick up to ease the transition. We also recommend a puppy powder probiotic.
How should be train our puppy?
We love the company Baxter and Bella as they have a lifetime dog training support program. It is a virtual self study curriculum that is geared towards the modern busy family and is worth it's weight in gold. Another great source is YouTube sensation Zak George. He has free and subscription puppy training videos that are very user friendly. Formal puppy classes are a great choice after 16 weeks old but you need to start the basics no later than 10 weeks with your family. The bottom line is you need to commit to training and raising your puppy with consistency and realistic expectations from the moment he or she comes home to you.
